Pregnancy Yoga helps a mother to stay flexible and healthy throughout the pregnancy, remain present during the challenges of labor and delivery, and care for herself during the postpartum period.

Laura offers pre and postnatal Yoga classes for all levels of students and stages of pregnancy from 14 weeks to delivery and beyond. (or from first scan).
Laura practised yoga throughout both of her pregnancies and continues today to practice Yoga both on and off the mat. She benefited from Yoga both physically and mentally during pregnancy and it has inspired her to teach Antenatal Yoga to share the wonderful benefits she discovered.
Not only does Yoga during pregnancy create space in the body, it also allows the mother to take time for herself, to be present and connect with the baby growing within.
Move, stretch, breathe and relax. Classes feature a gentle flow of yoga postures, pranayama and relaxation techniques. Classes are tailored to individual needs and include postures that focus on reliving pregnancy tension throughout the body. Classes are gentle so that they restore energy while at the same time they are designed to create space in the changing body.
The class includes pelvic floor strengthening exercises and Pranayama (Breath) work to encourage relaxation and concentration for birth preparation. The use of props and support (blankets, bolsters and pillows) are used throughout the session for maximum comfort. Classes finish with restorative postures to leave you feeling rested and rejuvenated.
